Our Fees
Good Egg Psychology sets fees aligned with Dr Claire Nussey’s experience as a Clinical Psychologist and commitment to offering a sustainable and high quality service. Fees are reviewed annually in June.
Private Paying
The standard rate is $255 for a 50-minute appointment.
Payment is required on the day of the appointment.
Out of hours appointments (before 9am and after 5pm) may be available on request and will incur a surcharge.
Medicate-Rebated
The full fee is $255 for a 50-minute appointment. The Medicare-rebate is $145.25 with a valid referral and Mental Health Care Plan (this is a gap fee of $109.75 after the rebate is applied).
Payment is required on the day of the appointment. Once payment is received, Good Egg Psychology will lodge your rebate with Medicare within two working days (often sooner). You’ll then receive the rebate directly into your bank account from Medicare.

Good Egg Psychology does not offer bulk-billed services.
Private Health Insurance
The standard rate applies. An invoice after each appointment can be provided which you can use to claim through your private health insurance. Contact your Health fund for further information and to ensure eligibility. Please note that you can only claim a rebate from either Medicare or Private Health, not both.
NDIS
Self-managed participants have the flexibility to pay providers directly at an agreed rate. The standard private rate applies. You pay us directly and may then claim the cost from your NDIS funding.

Your plan manager is typically invoiced directly after each appointment.
Workers Compensation & CTP
Psychology services are charged at the rate set by the NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) – click here
Your insurer is typically invoiced directly after each appointment.
Assessments for Autism and/or ADHD
The full fee is $255 for a 50-minute appointment.
Therapeutic assessment requires an initial appointment to determine if further exploration would be helpful. A further 2-3 sessions (minimum) are then required.
Payment is required on the day of the appointment.
Good Egg Psychology offers the following documentation options.
1. Diagnostic Letter – $255
This is a brief letter confirming my credentials, assessment tools used, and diagnoses (DSM-5-TR) you meet criteria for.
2. Diagnostic Report – $1530
This is an in depth report detailing how you meet diagnostic criteria, including qualitative and quantitative assessment results, background information, and personalised recommendations, plus everything contained in the diagnostic letter.
3. Support Documentation
Additional support documentation options may be available, depending on your needs and circumstances. These are charged at the standard hourly rate of $255 (and typically take 3-6 hours depending on complexity). An additional appointment may also be required to collect the necessary information to complete the paperwork.
For all documentation types, full payment is required before the report writing process begins. This can be made in installments. Once this work has commenced, the service is not able to be changed or cancelled due to the significant time and effort involved in creating your custom-made report.
You can elect not to have any documentation – for example if you “just want to know” if you have a neurodivergent brain, and do not require or want written/formal diagnosis.
Verbal/informal confirmation from a professional can be achieved by the therapeutic assessment process alone.
Any documentation is provided directly to you (ie not to third parties).
Clinical Supervision
Supervision is charged at $230 + GST per 50 minute session.
Payment is required on the day of the session.
The cancellation policy also applies to supervision.

Deposit
A deposit may be required for your initial appointment. You will be advised of this at the time of booking if applicable.
Outstanding Fees
Clients with unpaid invoices will not be able to access further sessions until the invoice has been paid.
